My mom sent me this in an email today, and it’s so cool I have to post it. A group of people in Slovenia accomplishes something you’d consider almost impossible (and with the instruments so ordinary and everyday you’d never think they’re instruments). They were plastic, ugly, & clunky and we couldn’t carry more than a handful at a time. Back in the good old days, no one had an iPod and few, few people even had CDs. We’re talkin’ the “Tom Hanks 80’s Movie With Those Fugly Oh-So-Simple Poofy Headphones” era. iPods all look the same – and while the iPod is, of course, a remarkable product and very stylish in it’s own right, it’s taken the personal touch (to a small degree) out of every day music.
