A group of people in Slovenia accomplishes something you’d consider almost impossible (and with the instruments so ordinary and everyday you’d never think they’re instruments). The Best of Batman: The Dark Knight As Seen By Different Artists

While I admit up front I’m not big fan of Batman (though he is quite a bit cooler than Spiderman), I love seeing a common theme drawn/painted/illustrated by a lot of different people – each artist has a different perspective and their own take on what Batman should be. Here’s a sample of how the patron saint of Gotham City is viewed by a selection of artists.

The best section is just the Architecture category, but the whole site has some good information and inspiration.

Office Snapshots

This is the best one for checking out how The Other Side works. They have (at times quite lengthy) galleries of workspaces around the globe.

Breathe Modern, from LateMag

This is a bit stuffy and uppercrust but for the ultra modern type of style it’s pretty good.

Hatch, from Design Public

They were plastic, ugly, & clunky and we couldn’t carry more than a handful at a time. Back in the ~~good~~ old days, no one had an iPod and few, few people even had CDs. We’re talkin’ the “Tom Hanks 80’s Movie With Those Fugly Oh-So-Simple Poofy Headphones” era. iPods all look the same – and while the iPod is, of course, a remarkable product and very stylish in it’s own right, it’s taken the personal touch (to a small degree) out of every day music.

My point being, all iPods look the same. Back in the day, you could buy all manner of different coloured analogue audio.
