Connett’s work is slightly macabre, slightly disturbed, and also slightly poignant in subject. Connett is like Alessandro Bavari without the Bosch and his paintings in a common theme but without the triptych, and all oddly creepy (I blame his use of eyes).

Paper folding is a very hands-on art. Rather than simply making the paper sculptures, these artists created a story using origami and stop-motion animation. Art takes a 3D, time-consuming process to completion in each of these examples — some are short, but still in a way tell a beautiful tale of patience and creativity.
