They were plastic, ugly, & clunky and we couldn’t carry more than a handful at a time. Back in the good old days, no one had an iPod and few, few people even had CDs. We’re talkin’ the “Tom Hanks 80′s Movie With Those Fugly Oh-So-Simple Poofy Headphones” era. iPods all look the same – and while the iPod is, of course, a remarkable product and very stylish in it’s own right, it’s taken the personal touch (to a small degree) out of every day music.

My point being, all iPods look the same. Back in the day, you could buy all manner of different coloured analogue audio.
